The station was opened on 19 May 1927 and closed on 15 May 1934. Today the station is the terminus for the steam trains of the Steam Train Goes - Borsele. The platform with a canopy over 20 feet long on either side, a trail, and that gives the train the ability to reverse. The station is located next to the marina and behind the station is the park Meadow. This park is dedicated to trains, so there is a miniature railroad where children can ride along.
