This a small pound on the outskirts of Crosby Garrett. On the road leading up to the common grazing of Nettle Hill. Just south of the viaduct.

The pinfold is made from local limestone in a circular pattern with a small opening. There is nothing remaining of the closure device. Inside is overgrown. The local constable would have been responsible for impounding stray animals. The last constable retired in 1880. Already his other duties were taken over by the new central constabulary.
