Commission House
1889 & 1895

Architects: Issac H. & William M. Rapp

Founded as W.H. Chick & Co. before the Civil War, the firm became Chick, Browne & Co. in 1858 and Browne & Manzarnares in 1878.  Commssion houses served as ordering agents, transporters and wholeslers for merchants through the Southwest.  The firm was sold to rival Gross, Kelly & Co. in 1915.
