A 2-die machine on the Austrian side of the top of the Zugspitze mountain. The machine is located inside at the lookout platform of the Austrian mountain station. The posted coordinates are those of the entrance closest to the machine. The Austrian mountain station can be reached from the German mountain station and v.v. The top of the Zugspitze can be reached by cable car from both Germany and Austria. With 2962 meters, the Zugspitze is Germany's highest mountain.
The machine takes a 5 eurocent coin to be smashed, and a 1 euro coin in order to let the machine work. There are two designs available. One shows the Zugspitze with a church with the text "Zugspitze Tirol" and the other one shows the Gipfelkreuz (the cross on top of the highest point of the Zugspitze) with the text "Tirol Zugspitze 2962m".
