A figure of a squirrel holding an acorn. This has been carved during summer 2012 in the remaining trunk of a Dutch Elm which had to have the top diseased part removed. It is situated a short way in from the Cemetery Road entrance.

Cemetery is very large, dates from 1868, and now also houses a large population of grey squirrels, some of which will approach people for nuts.
