EN: The house "zum Delphin" (Dolphin) is a stately town house on Rittergasse in Basel near the cathedral. The three-story white building with sandstone cornices was built in 1760 by architect Samuel Werenfels (1720-1800) for the merchant Johann Anton Huber. 1861, the building was added a wing with barn and outbuildings. Today this location is the wills and estate office of the canton Basel-Stadt.
DE: Das Haus zum Delphin ist ein herrschaftliches Stadthaus an der Rittergasse in Basel in der Nähe des Münsters. Das dreistöckige weisse Gebäude mit Sandsteingesimsen wurde 1760 vom Architekten Samuel Werenfels (1720-1800) für den Kaufmann Johann Anton Huber gebaut. 1861 erfolgte der Anbau eines Flügels mit Stall und Remisen. Heute ist and dieser Adresse das Erbschaftsamt Basel-Stadt zu finden.
