In Greek mythology, the Nereids are sea nymphs. This bronze sculpture is of an unamed nerieid, a nymph wearing a thin dress, with outstretched arms looking towards a bird held in her left hand, standing on a wave. Located at One Kingsway, Cardiff.

This lifesize neried is standing on a wave with two fish at her feet, on a round plinth, which i think used to be a fountain.
