Finding this church in the middle of nowhere was quite a surprise. Still, it's surprisingly well kept and surrounded by a nice garden and properly built parking area.
From the panel near the door (Portuguese and English):
"The present church, built at the end of the 16th Century in the style of popular models of religious architecture of the region, succeeded a primitive gothic foundation of which no material vestiges remains.
It has a porch with three rounded arches and an interior which is rectangular in plan, with a slightly rounded masonry ceiling. In the nave there are two side altars, with baroque carving and gilding, dedicated to Saint Anthony and to Our Lady of Light, the later with an interesting and ancient collection of popular votive offerings.
The chancel, square in plan, is finished with a rounded stone lantern. Here, the image of Saint Vincent, dating from the 17th Century and set on a retable with pillars in carved and gilded wood, is venerated."
