"Die landschaftlich wunderschöne gelegene Stallenalm befindet sich 1340 Meter über dem Meer, auf dem Gemeindegebiet von Vomp. Die Stallenhütte bzw. Stallenalm ist eine der ältesten Almen im Karwendel. Innen ist noch die alte Ausstattung der Hütte zu sehen. Die Alm gehört zum Stift Fiecht, dem auch St. Georgenberg gehört. Schönes Ziel zum wandern im Karwendel.
Die Stallenalm ist heute beliebtes Ausflugsziel für Wanderer. Von Stans (durch die Wolfsklamm) oder von Vomp (Parkplatz Weng oder Parkplatz Bärenrast) geht es durch das Stallental zum Stallenboden und zur Stallenalm. Im Frühjahr säumen viele Enzian und andere Alpenblumen die Almwiesen." - Quelle: (
