This is an abstract sculpture called 'Figur 1. September' (Figure of 1st September) which is located in front of the art museum 'Sprengel' in Hannover, Germany, Niedersachsen.

The sculpture was created by Horst Antes in 1969.

It is made of steel and aluminium.
It's height is 1.5 meters.

There's no plaque with details.

It was first placed in the old town of Hannover in 1972.
Later in 1983 it was placed here.

The reason for the naming is unknown.
