This 345 year old White Pine was a seedling in 1619 and cut down by the John B. Smith and Sons Logging Operation in 1964.
Major events that happened during the trees life include the founding of Montreal, Confederation of Canada, Surveying of North Bay, WWI and WWI and the Dawn of the Atomic Age.
The display was donated in 1970 as a Centennial Project by Donald G. Parsons and was refurbed in 1995 by Andreas Ritter.
