This two-story, symmetrical, red brick building has a seven-bay storefront and a six-bay second story. Italianate ornamentation on the storefront includes narrow, cast iron columns that separate the bays, full arch windows with window hoods, and the bracketed cornice. Alterations include the ground floor display windows and central entrance, as well as the modern awning. The second story windows are double-hung sashes with one-over-one lights and wood sills. Arched ornamental hoods cap the windows. Narrow molding defines the entablature space above, which has a bracketed projecting cornice. The corbel between brackets provides additional decorative emphasis.

This building is representative of Italianate commercial designs found throughout the District and retains its original configuration and second-story architectural elements. In spite of the alterations to the first-story storefront, this building retains sufficient integrity to contribute to the District.
