Fort Erie Golf Club is an "executive" layout featuring mostly par-3s and three par-4s, but is nonetheless a challenging course ideally suited for most recreational golfers.

Playing 3350 yards from the back tees, the course includes five par-3s of 180 yards or more (9 more than 150 yards) and a similar number of shorter 3-pars. Of the par-4s, the 400-yard 10th is the most demanding, while holes # 3 and 18 are shorter, more in keeping with the "executive" design of the course.
A mature property, the Fort Erie GC includes mature trees, numerous ponds and strategically placed bunkers. The small to mid-size, gently contoured greens hold approach shots well and putt smooth and true.
Signature holes include the 220-yard, par-3 4th with three ponds, a bunker left, and trees surrounding the small, sloping green. Next in line, the par-3 5th, a narrow corridor of trees framing the hole, demonstrates that par-3s do not have to be long to be challenging.
The signature 10th hole, the longest on the course, is a 400-yard, par-4 demanding both length and accuracy off the tee. Big hitters might fly the trees on the left for an easier approach. For others, a long approach shot must clear a fronting pond.
A complete golf / entertainment site, the Fort Erie GC also offers a large practice range, putting green, chipping area, licenced clubhouse, power carts, a tournament / event building, even a mini-putt course. Ideally suited for practice, beginners, juniors and recreational golfers of all skills levels.
