This retired Union Pacific caboose is located alongside a paved parking area just west of the intersection of Davis and Bennett Streets between Interstate 80 and the Union Pacific tracks on the western edge of Rawlins, Wyoming.

This caboose is in good shape but is starting to show a few signs of aging. A wooden porch with access steps has been built along the northeast side of the caboose to allow viewing of the interior through any window along that side or both ends.
