The Rawlins UP yard is a very active location with almost constant switching action plus frequent through freights.
The end platform of the caboose on display at the west end of the depot gives you an elevated vantage point from which to view the activity. Space on the platform is limited so be sure to give consideration to those who want to use the platform to view the interior of the caboose.
