The First National Bank and Trust building was designed, in 1929, by Frederic C. Hirons of New York City. It is a the best example of Art Deco styling in Greenfield. The granite facade has a pair of Art Deco eagles above the entrance. The elaborate entrance is detailed with brass, glass and decorative ironwork.
