Clearwater National Forest site in old-growth cedar grove which is dedicated to American author and historian Bernard DeVoto. His work included a compilation of the journals of Lewis and Clark. An interpretive nature trail passes through this Memorial Grove and passes a memorial plaque to Bernard DeVoto.
The Northwest Passage Scenic Byway extends the full width of Idaho from Lewiston, Idaho to Lolo Pass for a total distance of 202 miles.
