A geological treasure lies at Crystal Bay at the north end of Tettagouche State Park. Just north of where Hwy. 1 meets Rt. 61, a waymarker will find a narrow, steep path down to Crystal Bay where this impressive rock arch is a testament to the wave action of Lake Superior. Use caution when descending the rocky trail down to the beach, but the walk is well worth the trip. A kayak will be needed to paddle through the arch so the coords are at an accessible spot on the beach.
Photo of the Arch by itself?: yes
Type of Arch: Coastline
Type of Material: Basalt
