The Medford Plaza is a 49-unit, seven-story apartment complex located southwest of Medford's downtown core. Built in 1952, the complex has changed little since it's debut and remains one of the tallest buildings in southern Oregon. The complex has a "plus-sign" footprint with the main entrance-way on the southwest side of the building's core. Just inside the front entrance is the original 1952 Otis elevator. Each floor is nearly identical, containing eight rooms and a janitor's closet. The complex is considered one of the first examples of the "International Style" in Medford.
