From Interstate Highway 80 Exit 184 proceed south 0.1 mile to a T intersection with the Old US Highway 40 grade. Turn right and proceed approximately 0.2 miles to an unpaved road that branches sharply left and up a small rise toward two Wyoming historical marker signs. This mark is just southeast of the two signs, approximately 3 feet southwest of a red fiberglass witness post, 2 feet southeast of a tall green steel t-bar witness post, and about 4 inches southeast of a short green steel u-channel witness post. It is a two-inch aluminum disk bounted on a steel rod almost flush with the surrounding grade.
