This Marker is mounted in front of the two residences at 1602 & 1604 Mono Avenue in Minden, Nevada. It is Stop #26 on the Discover Minden Walking Tour. A brochure detailing all 48 stops of the tour is available from the Minden Chamber of Commerce.

These two houses were built in 1907 by Henry Bassman. At the time of their construction they were identical and were the fourth-oldest homes in Minden.
