Nejstarší zmínka o prítomností židu v Humenném je z roku 1743. Hrbitov je doložen k roku 1828. Patrí mezi rozlohou nejvetší židovské hrbitovy na Slovensku. Zachovalo se zde více než 900 hrobu. Po druhé sv. válce hrbitov zpustl a od konce 20. století je postupne obnovován.

The earliest evidence of the presence of Jews in Humenné is from 1743. The cemetery is documented in 1828. It is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the Slovak Republic. Preserved are more than 900 graves. After the WWII cemetery was abandoned and the end of the 20th century is gradually restored.
