This cottage originally stood on land southwest of this lot, a space now occupied by the Byrd Bungalows. In 1906, it was moved to this location by William H. Byrd after he purchased the land and the cottage from Mary Graham. The cottage was originally owned by Ethan Graham, a carpenter. Prior to the move, the cottage had a different front porch.
