Adeline Pooler House - Court Street-Chemeketa Street Historic District - Salem, Oregon - NRHP Historic Districts - Contributing Buildings on Waymarking.com

This Bunglow was built in 1910 by Jefferson Pooler for his mother, Adeline Pooler. Jefferson was the builder of at least seven houses in this district, including his own, a few houses away. The house sits on land originally owned by the Watt family but sold to Adeline Pooler in 1909. She was the widow of Lewis C. Pooler, a pioneer who married Adeline in 1855, three years after the crossed the plains. Mrs. Pooler lived in the house until her death in 1929.
