This house is believed to have been built for Phil N. Thomas after he purchased the lot in 1903. He sold it to Ferdinand Kurz, although neither Thomas or Kurz are believed to have actually lived in the house. Patrick Cleary, a laborer, and his wife Mary bought the house in 1921 and lived here until 1952.
