A striking cable stayed footbridge has been opened over the River Towy linking Carmarthen town at the bottom of Blue Street, with Carmarthen Station, South Wales.

A pedestrian footbridge over the River Towy opened on 21/June/2006. The bridge has 2 support masts approx 60 feet high, and a slight 'S' shaped footpath which is only obvious when you are walking over the bridge.
