This one-and-one-half story Craftsman house was built in 1910 for Florian Von Eschen, a chemistry and physics professor at Willamette University. After Mr. Von Eschen's death, his widow remained living at this house into the 1940s. A prominent feature of the house is the semi-circle window frame in the lower-front gable.
