Near the tennis courts in Rinconada Park is a play area for the 2-5 crowd. This fenced in area has benches for the parents, a nice modern structure with 4 slides, toddler swings, and a spring motorcycle.
Just a short distance across the grass is the playground for the older kids. In addition to the typical swings, this area has an "Adventure Ship" complete with a pair of slides, and a seperate structure dedicated to the child that love bars...of the parallel and monkey variety. A sign near this area identifies that the equipment was constructed using recycled material equal to 9,616 plastic containers, 66,671 aluminum cans, and 26,109 soup cans. Recycling at it's finest!
