Miami (my-AM-uh) OK is a town of fewer than 15000 people, and the capital for FIVE separate Indian tribes: The Miami, Modoc, Ottawa, Peoria, Seneca-Cayuga and Absentee Shawnee Tribes.
Apparently, they also have some Amish folks. This sign warns drivers to be on the lookout for horse-drawn buggies.
It is located on historic Route 66 just over the bridge for the Grand Neosho River on the way into town.
