This store is gigantic and has all the spices one could ever hope to buy. The place was pretty busy when I visited as was the rest of the mall.
The 3,800-square-foot store offers 900 products including a range of McCormick spices for cooking, baking and grilling, and hats and T-shirts advertising some of McCormick’s signature products. It also has interactive displays, an exhibit about the company’s history and an open kitchen at the center of the store that will be used for cooking demonstrations.
McCormick’s opening is part of the revitalization of the Light Street Pavilion, including the addition of Ripley’s Believe it or Not in June, as well as Bubba Gump Shrimp and other food court tenants.
New vendors helped Harborplace & the Gallery reach 95 percent occupancy this summer. McCormick’s opening at Harborplace is an important part of the retail complex’s revitalization, said Greater Baltimore Committee chair Brian C. Rogers, who attended Wednesday’s event.
