The Manhattan KS Carnegie Library was built in 1904. It served as a library until 1969, when it was acquired by Riley county for a Courthouse Annex. It still serves as the Annex today.

This grand and dignified Neo-Classical building is on the National Register of Hiatoric Places on its own right, and is a contributing building to the Downtown Manhattan KS Historic District.
