Large, five block inukshuk placed at the entrance to the Picton Fairgrounds. The inukshuk is made of local limestone. It was placed 3 Feb 2010, in time for the opening of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, BC.
The inukshuk stands as a guardian over the park entrance and Main Street, and commemorates the spot where the Olympic Torch entered the fairgrounds on its cross-Canada odyssey in 2009.
