The Jean Road Fire Deparment was build in 1989, and there is a large lawn around the facility. Part of the lawn has been improved and includes a flag pole, some landscaping, a very large bell with a plaque that dedicates the bell to the firefighters, also a plaque next to the flagpole that dedicates it to a particular firefighter, and the garden also includes a totem sculpture made of recycled car and motorcycle parts.
Bell:
"Donated by Marge and Dick Wysong, in the name of Charlie Johson. Dedicated to firefighters who vallantly gave of themselves and have been injured, disabled or killed serving the citizens of the communiy in and around Lake Oswego.
Proudly erected 1996 by LOFD Firefighters."
Flagpole:
"In memory of Lieutenant Robert "Greg" Fale for his dedicated service to the Lake Oswego Fire Department.
December 12, 1963 to April 9, 1989"
