Unique chimeras ensconced in leafy foliage all around this wonderful Italianate building. See the soldier peeking out, or the blindfolded face of the goddess of Justice?
Blasterz are no mind-readers, but we think the owl symbolizes wisdom, the Goddess of Justice symbolizes the law, and the soldier symbolizes the might of the state.
These chimeras can be found under the friezes over the entries to the courthouse.
The frieze itself is a beautiful carving of foliage and an eagle in the center of the triangular pediment, with a statue of the Goddess of Justice standing overhead.
