Built in 1902, St. Michael's Cathedral was built with sandstone from nearby Table Rock and dedicated by Bishop James Funsten and the Rev. Charles Deuel on May 25, 1902. An overflow crowd of 500 was in attendance and hundreds were turned away due to lack of room.

Services are held Saturday at 5:30pm, Sunday 8am, 9:15am, and 11 am, Tuesday 12:15pm, and Thursday 7:30am. The church also holds "Cathedral Night" each Wednesday evening, featuring dinner, fellowship, music and activities for all ages.
