The Chotek family
The Chotek family (visit link) is first documented in the 14th century. In the late 16th century, Václav Chotek took the name of Chotkov and Vojnín.
In 1685 the coat of arms of the Chotek family was joined with the coat of arms of the extinct Charwat von Bärnstein family.

Kacina Chateau
One of the most important Empire chateaux in Bohemia which originated as a summer seat of the duke Chotek in 1802 - 1822. It is placed in a large castle park from 1789 which was later turned into an English park. There is an exhibition of Czech countryside and a large castle library in the chateau.
