Over the entrance to El Salvador's National Palace, is a frieze which has a circular center with the relief depiction of a barchested man. The man, who although looking European, may represent the indeigenous Indians since he seems to have two feathers in a headband. The relief is framed by a structure supported by laurels and adorned with more feathers.
