The hall is at the corner of Gander and Krestova Cemetery Roads. The community of Krestova was settled in the early 20th century by the "Sons of Freedom", a breakaway sect of the Doukhobors.

Best way to get to the hall is to cross the Slocan River on the bridge just north of Crescent Valley, turn left off the bridge, follow Pass Creek Road for 4.6 km. to Krestova Road. Turn right on Krestova Road, then left when it crosses Krestova Cemetery Road. You'll almost immediately see the hall on your left.

This painting of the Krestova Doukhobor Hall was done in 2011 by Tea Preville, a Nelson resident whose body of work has become quite large. She is an artist of eclectic output and eclectic media, this one an oil on canvas, from her online gallery of churches in Slocan, Passmore, Krestova, Crescent Valley & area.
