There are twelve statues on the Alte Mainbrücke, but at the site of the statue of Saint Kilian, there are two small metal loops in the stone railing. These are the only two metal loops on the bridge, and they are adorned with Love Padlocks. The bridge dates from the 1400's and was for many years the only bridge to cross the Main River in Würzburg. Today it is within the pedestrian zone, so no vehicle traffic.
