EN: The Villa Burggarten is located on the northern edge of the Burg quarter, a suburban residential district, that was built in the 1880s south of the railway line. The villa was built in 1895/96 by architect Carl Begle for the factory owner Eduard Spinnler-Holinger. Today it serves as a music school.
The two-storey building is dominated by a polygonal stair tower on the north side. The architecture combines elements of late historicism with those of classicism. The villa has been preserved inside and out almost entirely original and has recently been extensively renovated.
DE: Die Villa Burggarten liegt am Nordrand des Burg-Quartiers, einem vorstädtischen Villenquartier, das ab den 1880er Jahren südlich der Eisenbahnlinie entstand. Die Villa wurde 1895/96 vom Architekten Carl Begle für den Fabrikanten Eduard Spinnler-Holinger erbaut. Heute dient sie als Musikschule.
Das zweigeschossige Gebäude wird von einem polygonalen Treppenturm an der Nordseite dominiert. Der Baustil vereint Elemente des Späthistorismus mit solchen des Klassizismus. Die Villa ist innen und aussen fast vollständig original erhalten und wurde kürzlich umfassend saniert.
