No 227 R.A.A.F. Radar Station was operational from 27th October 1943 to 30th November 1945 and reported to N0 6 Fighter Squadron located at Pearce Air Force Base. All that is left are two bunkers, one housing the transmitter and the other housed the reciever, antenna bolts set in the concrete and some rusty metal.
During the 1960's and 70's the buildings were used to grow mushrooms for the local market
Unfortunately over the years the bunkers have become targets for graffitists and vandals
The bunkers are now heritage listed
