An abstract sculpture slowly being encompassed by english ivy.

Located on the grounds of the
North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching, this junk abstract sculpture was likely placed when the facility opened over two decades ago. It consists of three 4" square steel bars (two curved) painted red, blue, and black and a section of split metal grate. The paint coating needs to be replaced. The piece is now buried in a thick bed of english ivy among other landscaping that has grown up. Identified per picture in the SIRIS database.
Found to the left of the entrance drive in front of the first building on the left.
