This is one of two UR Here maps at the Crescent Valley entrance point on the Slocan Valley Rail Trail. This is just 2.5 km. up Highway 6 from its junction with Highway 3A.

The Slocan Valley Rail Trail comprises 50 km. of what was once the Slocan Valley Railway, running from the CPR mainline at South Slocan in the south to Nakusp on Upper Arrow Lake in the north. The Rail Trail runs up the Slocan Valley alongside the Slocan River to Slocan City on Slocan Lake. The Slocan River flows southerly down the valley and empties into the Kootenay at Shoreacres, south of the southern trailhead.
