The depicted monument dedicated to the victims of collectivization in agriculture in Czechoslovakia during Communist regime you can find in the front of Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic in Prague.
Between 1948-1989 the communist regime and its henchmen tried to liquidate the Czech rural population and to collectivise the country by force. Many farmers were executed, thousands were imprisoned, families were forced to move from their homes, children were thrown out of schools, properties were stolen and devastated. The perpetrators of these crimes were never punished.
The monument in the shape of tuft of young corn bounded by barbed wire is work of sculptor Jirí Plieštik and was unveiled in May 23, 2004.
