After flowing underground for several miles, the Santa Fe River emerges in River Rise Preserve, a popular fishing site. The park also offers miles of equestrian trails, primitive campsites and a 20-stall horse barn for equestrian campers. Visitors can pay entrance and camping fees at O'Leno State Park, located on U.S. 441, six miles north of High Springs.
The entrance to the park is located two miles west of High Springs on U.S. 27.
