This dam was built in 1857 by Henry Corby as part of a Grist Mill which paved the way for his Distillery. Corby Distilleries today makes liquor brands such as Absolut, Wisers and Malibu. A fire recently took out most of the original distillery. So now the only remains are the dam in the Moira River.
