Designed by colonial architect Edmund Blacket & constructed in 1849 in simple Gothic Revival Style, the church is built from sandstone quarried directly behind it. The stained glass windows came from a church in Cornwall England and are thought to date to the 15th century.
The church continues to serve its parishioners to this day.
