This statue of the Virgin Mary, the centerpiece of an Outdoor Altar, that stands at the entrance to the Saint Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, is situated on the east side of the drive, opposite the sign for the Church. It is a colorful statue of Mary atop a concrete base, surrounded by rocks. She is dressed in a white robe, with gold trim - Her shoes are gold, as well. Over that She wears a blue covering that flows from Her head to Her feet. She has Her hands held together in front of Her, with Her head down, as if praying. The statue has a pitched roof overhead, with flowers attached behind Her head with a sign above Her head that reads:

PROTECT US
Saint Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church is nestled in a rural area of Rhode Island, about two miles from the the Rhode Island - Connecticut border. The Church building itself, sits back from the road, on the north side of the highway. It is a single story building with natural colored clapboard siding.
