Turtle Duck Crossing

I've heard of turtle doves, but never a turtle duck. The words on the lower sign either disagree with the picture as to what is crossing, or the message refers to two separate species that are prone to cross here.

The are retention ponds on bothe sides of Tobey Road, so would surprise onone to see either a turtle crossing sign or a duck crossing sign, but this one just leaves the reader scratching their head!
By way of clarification, the sign provided only has a duck silhouette, with no printed words.
