This independent diner is the Log Inn in near Haubstadt, IN. It is located on Warrenton Rd east of Hwy 41 by 1 mile.
This diner is well known for a few reasons, locally and nationally. First off, it is recognized as the oldest restaurant in the state of Indiana. It opened in 1825 as the Noon Day Stage Coach Stop on a line between Evansville and Vincennes. It is also a visiting place of Abraham Lincoln in 1844 while on the campaign trail for Whig Party presidential hopefully Henry Clay.
Most importantly, it is known as having some of the BEST food around. They are known for their home-style servings, though a sandwich and entree menu is available.
